Collection: A. Limar

Alexis Limar is a young estate in La Neuville-aux-Larris, in the Marne Valley, that has chosen to make Meunier its signature grape variety rather than a mere blending partner. The old massal selections, planted on clay-limestone soils, are harvested as whole bunches and vinified without artifice: spontaneous fermentation, aging in stainless steel vats on lees, no fining or filtration, and zero dosage. The result, floral and very tactile, with notes of apple, pear, and white peach, showcases a textured and honest Meunier. A very convincing first chapter for a house that is still in its infancy.
