André Beaufort Millésime 2019, Ambonnay Grand Cru

The 2019 André Beaufort Ambonnay Grand Cru vintage brings together 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay from the limestone and chalky soils of Ambonnay. The terroir naturally provides more structure and depth than Polisy, with a particularly expressive Pinot Noir.

Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in the domaine's low-intervention spirit, and the wine then matures for a long period before disgorgement. The 2019 vintage brings maturity and fullness, with notes of orange peel, hazelnut, small red fruits, and a saline finish. A rich Grand Cru, yet fresh enough to remain profoundly Champenois.
