Aurore Casanova Oger, Grand Cru

Aurore Casanova's 2023 base Chardonnay Grand Cru is a 100% Chardonnay. Fermentation is spontaneous and the wine remains on the lees for 11 months in 228- and 400-liter barrels, with no fining or filtration.

Bottled in July 2024 and disgorged in April 2026, it is finished with an Extra Brut dosage of 1 g/l. Citrus, orchard fruit, white flowers, and chalk are supported by genuine palate weight, extended by a saline finish. A precise cuvée, but with enough texture to never become merely austere.
