Benoît Marguet Shaman, Grand Cru 2023

Shaman is the gateway to the world of Benoît Marguet — biodynamic, radical, and profoundly alive. This 2023-dominant edition blends 84% Pinot Noir and 16% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru villages of Ambonnay and Bouzy. The 2023 harvest accounts for 85% of the blend, completed by 15% reserve wines.

The wines are aged separately in barrels, with very little sulfur, malolactic fermentation, and zero dosage. The style is taut, intense, almost electric: fruit without makeup, vibrant acidity, and immediate energy. Shaman sets the Marguet tone from the very first sip.
