Benoît Marguet Vertus, Premier Cru 2021

Vertus 2021 is a 100% Chardonnay village cuvée, sourced from Vertus in the Côte des Blancs. The grapes are grown by Marc Augustin, a biodynamic winemaker and partner of Benoît Marguet. Here, we leave behind the Pinot Noir heart of Ambonnay for a fresher, chalkier interpretation of the Marguet style.

Vinified according to the estate’s principles—aged in barrels, very little sulfur, malolactic fermentation, and zero dosage—the cuvée favors precision over breadth. A clean, tense, and straightforward Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs.
