David Léclapart L'Aphrodisiaque 2020

L'Aphrodisiaque is a rare cuvée from David Léclapart, created when available volumes do not allow for the other cuvées to be composed separately. Several Trépail parcels are then combined. For the 2020 edition, the blend combines 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir.

Fermentation and malolactic conversion are spontaneous. The wine is vinified and aged primarily in old barrels, then remains on the lees in the bottle for a long period before disgorgement. No dosage. Less parcel-specific by design, but profoundly Léclapart: Trépail, energy, wood, and freedom.
