David Léclapart L'Astre 2022

L'Astre is David Léclapart's Pinot Noir expression. Based on the 2022 vintage, grapes from Trépail are moved directly into old oak barrels for spontaneous fermentation. With minimal sulfiting, malolactic fermentation occurs naturally in most vintages.

The base wine remains in neutral barrels for about 11 to 15 months, then the cuvée continues its maturation for around 36 months on lees. Zero dosage. A dry, chalky, and precise Blanc de Noirs, where the Pinot Noir gains texture without losing the energy of Trépail.
