Drappier Clarevallis

Clarevallis takes its Latin name from Clairvaux, the abbey founded by Saint Bernard a few kilometers from Urville. The grapes come from hillsides cultivated using organic farming methods, on a wine-growing landscape already worked during the Cistercian era .

The blend combines Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Meunier, and Blanc Vrai—the ancient Champenois Pinot Blanc—with low-intervention winemaking and a very low dosage. Clarevallis is less a varietal cuvée than a cuvée of place: generous, chalky, and deeply linked to the history of the Côte des Bar.
