Éric Rodez Cuvée des Crayères N°39, Grand Cru

Cuvée des Crayères is the gateway to the world of Éric Rodez in Ambonnay—if one can truly speak of an entry-level wine here. The blend brings together 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay Grand Cru, drawn from approximately 15 base wines spanning 5 to 6 harvests. Roughly 70% of the blend comes from reserve wines.

Nearly 85% of the wines are fermented and aged in small barrels, while about 30% undergo malolactic fermentation. The dosage remains around 2 g/l. Vinous, complex, and already gastronomic, the cuvée showcases the hallmarks of Rodez: Ambonnay, oak, reserve wines, and precision in blending.
