Franck Pascal Luminance 2019

Luminance 2019 is Franck Pascal’s vintage Blanc de Blancs: 100% Chardonnay from the terroirs of Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, where hard limestone, flint, and white clays give the wine its mineral tension.

Fermentation is spontaneous using indigenous yeasts, with no fining or filtration. After bottling, the cuvée remains on the lees for at least four years before disgorgement. The dosage is 2.13 g/l, in Extra Brut. Citrus, green apple, white flowers, and a stony, saline finish compose a luminous Chardonnay, though never light in the superficial sense of the term.
