Krug Rosé 29th Édition

Krug Rosé 29ème Édition, offered here in a gift box, is composed around the 2017 harvest. It blends 29 wines from five different years, with the oldest dating back to 2010 and the youngest to 2017. Reserve wines make up 33% of the final blend.

The composition is 53% Pinot Noir, 28% Chardonnay, and 19% Meunier. Within the 53% Pinot Noir, 11% are red wines from traditional macerations originating from the Les Crayons plots in Mutigny in 2017 and Côte Valnon in Aÿ in 2016. Red fruits, toasted notes, blood orange, and a slightly bitter finish: a gastronomic rosé that, at Krug, can take the place of a red wine at the table.
