Krug Vintage 2011

Krug 2011, offered here in a gift box, is the expression of a paradoxical year with seasons that were almost reversed. The Tasting Committee nicknamed it "Chiseled Roundness," for this unlikely encounter between generosity, freshness, and structure.

The blend brings together 46% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay, and 17% Meunier. The Pinot Noirs provide balance and structure, the Meuniers freshness and elegant bitterness, while the Chardonnays, marked by heat spikes, prove to be riper, juicier, and rounder than usual. A Krug of contrast, where finesse and power move forward together.
