Leclerc-Briant La Croisette 2017

La Croisette 2017 comes from the historic Chardonnay plot located just behind the Leclerc-Briant estate in Épernay. Planted in the late 1950s and farmed without chemical treatments, this small vineyard remained the symbolic heart of the estate when the rest of the vineyards changed hands.

The 2017 vintage is vinified with spontaneous fermentation, aged for about nine months primarily in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation, followed by long aging on lees in the bottle. riper and suppler than the 2016, it retains the tension and vinosity that make La Croisette a true wine of place before being a rare cuvée.
