Olivier Horiot Cuvée Métisse

Cuvée Métisse is Olivier Horiot's non-vintage brut from Les Riceys. Its name already tells the story: blending grape varieties, plots, and years rather than seeking a fixed recipe. In certain editions, the blend has been dominated by Pinot Noir with a portion of white grape varieties and perpetual reserve.

The wine is aged in barrels and presented as a Brut Nature, with no dosage. Métisse is the gateway to the Horiot style: ample, lively, with light oxidative touches, but always supported by the freshness and salinity of the Kimmeridgian soils.
