Bichery Estate

At Domaine de la Bichery in Neuville-sur-Seine, Raphaël and Hannah cultivate nine hectares of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier on land that Raphaël’s father and grandfather Charles had planted as early as 1970. The name of the estate is taken from the Bichery locality—the house and barn he inherited, without ever truly possessing them.

First vinification in 2015, organic certification obtained in 2019: the duo champions one plot, one grape variety, one year, with no intervention. Indigenous yeasts, spontaneous malolactic fermentation, aging between stainless steel and old barrels, always without dosage. “No stories, just natural”—the estate’s motto serves as its instruction manual.
