Collection: Borderie Estate

Domaine La Borderie works with three grape varieties, three plots, and three different exposures in the Côte des Bar: Val Moré in Bar-sur-Seine, Les Devoix in Merrey-sur-Arce, and Clos Bidaut in Ville-sur-Arce. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc express themselves separately there before being blended into cuvées where the salinity of the terroir always remains recognizable.

A portion of the Pinot Noir is vinified in wood, the estate maintains a reserve of older wines, and the Coteaux Champenois—both white and red—serve as a reminder that vines existed here long before the bubbles. Precise work, parcel by parcel, more vinous than demonstrative.
