Domaine de la Borderie Les Trois Contrées

Trois Contrées is the signature cuvée of Domaine La Borderie: three grape varieties, three plots, three villages, and three different exposures in the Côte des Bar. The blend brings together 70% Pinot Noir, 23% Chardonnay, and 7% Pinot Blanc. The plots are Val Moré in Bar-sur-Seine, Les Devoix in Merrey-sur-Arce, and Clos Bidaut in Ville-sur-Arce.

The cuvée incorporates 15% reserve wines. A portion of the Pinot Noir is vinified in wood, malolactic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel vats, and the wine spends approximately 30 months in the cellar. The result is floral, spicy, ample, and taut, with the salinity that characterizes the estate's wines.
