Brice Allouchery Les Lavats, Premier Cru 2020

Les Lavats 2020 is a "lieu-dit" in Écueil Premier Cru planted with Pinot Noir since 1981. The plot has a northern exposure at an altitude of approximately 120 meters, on Upper Thanetian sands—a rather unique geological profile in Champagne.

The cuvée is vinified in barrels and then aged for a long period before disgorgement. Rather than inventing a false precision where market data sheets diverge on the details of the aging process, Bullerie focuses on the essentials: 100% Pinot Noir, a highly distinct sandy plot, patient vinification, and an Extra Brut built on finesse rather than power.
