Clandestin Les Semblables Austral 2022

Austral 2022 is the alter ego of Boréal at Clandestin. Still 100% Pinot Noir from the clay-limestone soils of the Côte des Bar, but this time sourced from south-facing plots. The concept is almost experimental: maintain a common denominator and let the exposure change the wine.

Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, aging occurs in neutral oak barrels, and the wine then continues its development on lees in the bottle. Zero dosage. Where Boréal seeks tension, Austral shows more maturity, volume, and flesh—two sides of the same terroir.
