Clandestin Les Grandes Lignes, Blanc de Blancs 2020

Les Grandes Lignes 2020 is Clandestin's single-plot Blanc de Blancs: 100% Chardonnay from approximately 38 ares of shallow clay soil where Portlandian chalk appears quickly, with a full southern exposure.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in 600-liter demi-muids. After the secondary fermentation, the wine remains on the lees for at least 24 months before disgorgement. Zero dosage. A cuvée even more site-specific than Boréal and Austral, where the Chardonnay provides a precise, saline, and slightly austere interpretation of the Aube.
