Dom Pérignon 2008

Dom Pérignon Vintage 2008 comes from a grey and cool year that remained so almost until the very end. Then, September turned everything around: sunshine, north-easterly winds, and spectacular ripening created a balance that very few had imagined a few weeks earlier.

The blend brings together equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The wine was kept in the cellar longer before its release — to the point that 2009 was marketed before it. Today, the 2008 remains taut, powerful, and elegant: citrus, toasted bread, smoke, ripe fruit, and a creamy mousse, all carried by a precise acidity.
