Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle, Iteration No. 26

Grand Siècle Iteration N°26 is based on an idea unique to Laurent-Perrier: nature never provides the perfect year, so the House recreates it through blending. This iteration brings together 65% of 2015, 25% of 2013, and 10% of 2012.

The final blend is composed of 60% Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, and Cramant, and 40% Pinot Noir from Tours-sur-Marne, Ambonnay, Bouzy, and Verzy—eight Grands Crus in total. After ten years on the lees, the wine blends candied lemon, hazelnut, fresh almond, pastry, honey, and roasted notes, with a long, vibrant, and mineral palate. A prestige cuvée built not on a vintage, but on an idea.
