Pierre Gerbais Bochot

Bochot is a single-plot Blanc de Meuniers made from 100% Meunier, sourced from the lieu-dit of the same name in Celles-sur-Ource. The grape variety is much rarer here than in the Marne Valley, which gives the cuvée an identity that immediately stands apart in the Gerbais range.

The cuvée is based on a perpetual reserve started in the mid-2010s. Vinified in tanks, with natural fermentation and malolactic fermentation, it is aged on lees followed by long bottle maturation, with no fining or filtration. Extra Brut, Bochot blends white fruits, citrus, aromatic herbs, and salinity in a silky texture. A luminous, rather than demonstrative, Meunier.
