Collection: Marie Courtin

Marie Courtin is the estate that Dominique Moreau built in Polisot, in the Côte des Bar, based on a simple idea: to let the Pinot Noir and the Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils speak for themselves, without artifice. Cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, the vines produce cuvées fermented with indigenous yeasts, almost always without dosage—Résonance in stainless steel vats, Efflorescence in wood, Concordance without any added sulfur, and Prestance in terracotta amphorae. Only Présence deviates from pure Pinot Noir, by blending Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. With each cuvée, only one element changes; the terroir itself remains the only true signature.
