Collection: Mathieu Faniel

Mathieu Faniel is a young estate in Cormoyeux, in the Marne Valley, built on certified organic viticulture and vinification in oak barrels. Louise & Augustin, a blend of Meunier and Chardonnay, provides the introduction; the rest of the work is done by individual sites and grape varieties—Le Village and Les Bois de Fleury in Meunier, Les Grains d'Argent in Chardonnay, each vinified separately and presented as a Brut Nature, with no dosage. A parcel-based approach quite rare for such a young estate, where the Meunier from Cormoyeux, often treated as a supporting role elsewhere, becomes the main subject here.
